In the current economic climate, many businesses across Europe are struggling to stay afloat, and many have already had to close down. Amidst this dark and gloomy forecast though, there is some light. Van der Vlist Belgium has announced that from May 6th 2013 they have expanded their operations.
The Van der Vlist site at Zeebrugge has been increased by 10 000 m² of outdoor storage and 750 m² of workshops. This has given them the chance to explore the options with their current storage and production facilities to best suit their clients’ needs.
Van der Vlist Belgium Managing Director Pascal Pannier states ‘With our increased capacity we are now looking to expand both our indoor and outdoor storage facilities as well as our Technical Services workshops, to provide a better and more efficient service to our clients.’
Following the expansion Van der Vlist’s Zeebrugge site now has 45 000m² of outdoor bonded storage, 3 000 m² of indoor warehouse storage and 2 750 m² of workshops. Plans are already in progress to increase the existing facilities for Technical Services, including painting, livery, washing, assembly, modification, repair and pre delivery inspection of machinery.
