In October of last year Van der Vlist undertook transportation of 200 Claas tractors from the factory in France to the port of Antwerp. The high quantity and short deadline made this an intensive challenge for the Van der Vlist team. All 200 tractors needed to be delivered to Russia before 17th November giving us just 5 weeks to do so, this meant that on top of our regular transports out of the factory in France we moved an extra 30 tractors weekly.
The machines were transported directly from the production line, thus we had to maintain a highly efficient collaboration between ourselves and Claas to meet the deadlines set.
This week we received for our outstanding performance the Claas Supplier Award 2017, category Logistics. We are very honored to have received such an award!
