High cargo by inland waterway at Van der Vlist
Van der Vlist is well known for their orange trucks driving oversized cargo throughout Europe. When cargo is not suitable for road transport, Van der Vlist also provides an alternative. Recently a box of over 14 meters in length and 530cm high was transported from the factory to an inland port, loaded into a barge by a crane, lashed & secured in the barge, transported to Rotterdam port and transhipped into an ocean carrier. Some smaller boxes have been lashed in a box container and shipped to the same destination. Multi-modal transportation but with only one single point of contact, frequently updated status information by our Account Coordinator and one all-inclusive price.
