The ship certainly isn’t the biggest that has docked in the port of Moerdijk, but with its 180meters in length and 30 meters in width, the ship does claim first place at our quay (for now). The MV Izumo Hermes came from Indonesia to unload 7800 tons of steel pipes.
The 136.000 square meters premises at Van der Vlist Moerdijk has two deep sea quays available, measuring 500 meters in total length and 8.5 meters in depth. In addition, a harbour crane capacity of 80 tonnes is deployable.
