Giant machines for the UK

We have transported several large machines for a Dredging project in Nigg Bay (Aberdeen), including two Hitachi EX 1900 SCP units, a Hitachi EX 1200 SCP, a CAT 988K and a CAT 390F. In the first two pictures, the transport of the EX 1900 SCP base machine is shown which was loaded in Hoorn at Snijder BV. The width of the machine is 4,75 meters and the height is 4,20 meters. In total no less than 14 transports were required per machine. The third picture illustrates the base boom of 40 tons. The fourth picture shows the Hitachi EX 1200 SCP where the first part of the boom is still mounted to the base machine. In the last picture, you can see the assembled EX 1900 SCP with a total weight of over 300 tons.
