Van der Vlist Projecten B.V. has recently supervised shipment of two unpacked 130 ton cranes. The cargo, originating in the Netherlands was moved ex-works via Antwerp Port and delivered to the Seaport Terminal China. Both cranes were initially transported by barge for the consignors and loaded directly to ship at Antwerp Port by the vessels own lifting gear.
On arrival in China the cranes were then scheduled to be assembled and fitted onto two brand new offshore vessels currently in build at a Chinese shipyard. This is the second time Van der Vlist Projecten B.V. has project managed delivery of these types of crane for the Chinese shipbuilding industry having completed a similar project in 2010.
