Van der Vlist are moving forwards with developing their Technial Services facilities. They have unveiled a new paint booth and mixing room at their Moerdijk terminal.
The new purpose built paint booth is 16.5m x 6m and 5m high, with a mixing room to create the exact colours required for machinery or parts. The painting booth will be operated by Van der Vlist painting specialists from Groot-Ammers, meaning that the highest standards will be maintained.
The services offered vary from a full re-spray to touch ups on static pieces, full machines or parts with chemical resistant paint, and a colour spectrometer, meaning the exact shade of colours can be matched perfectly, in conjunction with the major manufacturers where applicable.
The paint booth compliments the existing facilities of assembly and modification, machine maintenance and cleaning, as well as the specialism in assembling and dismantling marine equipment. The location as an inland port and the amount of storage space available means that Moerdijk is an excellent location to store and maintain machinery and goods before re-sale, or re-use.
