Port Cleanup 2026 in Zeebrugge

On 25 September, Van der Vlist Belgium took part in the annual Port Cleanup 2026 in Zeebrugge. Together with three colleagues, the team helped remove litter along the Koffieweg, one of the locations within the port area where the clean-up took place.

The Port Cleanup brings together employees from port companies each year to take responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe port environment by collecting and removing litter.

In addition to the Van der Vlist team, two employees from P&O Ferries also participated. A special highlight was the support of Dirk De fauw, Mayor of Bruges, who rolled up his sleeves and joined the litter-picking effort along the Koffieweg.

The initiative underlines the importance of collaboration in maintaining a clean port environment. It also demonstrates a shared commitment to creating a more sustainable living and working environment for everyone.
