Van der Vlist recently completed the transport and installation of a brand new cabin trainer for the KLM Training Centre. The project started in Rotterdam Port where the cabin trainer arrived from the United Kingdom. With a length of 15m, a width of 6,25m and a height of 4,35m, this was a complex task for all involved.
Upon arrival, the cabin trainer was lifted by crane from the trailer and placed on a pontoon. Van der Vlist then utilized the river network, delivering by water to Oude-Meer, close to Schiphol. The cabin trainer was then transported by trailer to Schiphol. Van der Vlist then offloaded and installed inside the Training Centre.
Van der Vlist looks back on a spectacular and successful project, and wishes the KLM cabin personnel many years of safe training!
