Van der Vlist Technical Services – Technically perfect, whatever your industry!

Van der Vlist Technical Services is currently involved with a number of projects relating to the mobile machinery industry. The workshop, based at the head offices of the Van der Vlist Transport Group in Groot Ammers, The Netherlands is currently occupied by various dump trucks, wheel loaders and bulldozers.

All of the machines are undergoing bespoke modifications at the request of the manufacturers prior to onward shipment to the final customer. Van der Vlist mechanics and technicians are specially trained by the manufacturers to learn the specific skills that allow the Van der Vlist Technical Services team to become an extension of the OEM’s own technical team. This allows the team to carry out customizations such as the central lubrication and Fuel Quick coupler fittings to the bulldozers as can be seen in the photographs

The images only give a snapshot of VTS capabilities. The department was developed specifically to cater for the mobile machinery market, however, over the years the skills of the VTS technical staff have developed to cater for a variety of industries and customers. As the types of cargo that the transport department was dealing with changed, it was seen that this also offered VTS new opportunities. Now our technicians have the ability to work with power generation equipment, flight simulators, vehicle maintenance and servicing and industrial machinery amongst other types of equipment.
