At Van der Vlist, we continue to invest in innovative and sustainable solutions to optimally serve our customers. At our technical facility in Groot-Ammers, we have put a sustainable washing installation into operation for cleaning earthmoving equipment, road construction machinery, agricultural machines, and other heavy equipment.
The installation is equipped with the latest washing technologies, including temperature-controlled and contactless cleaning. With four fully equipped washing bays, we are able to clean heavy equipment in a more sustainable, safer, more targeted, and efficient way. This contributes to the objectives of both our customers and Van der Vlist.
With this development, we are once again taking a step toward reducing and ultimately eliminating the use of fossil fuels in our processes. The installation can operate entirely without gas, using energy generated from our own solar park. A large high-temperature hot water buffer acts as energy storage, ensuring that sustainably generated energy remains available even later or in the absence of sunlight.
With this investment, we reaffirm our ambition to further make our processes more sustainable while providing even better service to our customers.
