Power to transport buses

In recent years Van der Vlist has been intensively investing in new equipment. Many new trucks and trailers have been purchased to fulfill the needs of our customers allowing us to offer smart and innovative transport solutions. The new equipment allows us to maximize loading capacities and keep our rates competitive.

A good example are the trailers designed to move new city buses. Alternative sources of power like electricity, hydrogen or gas require that the buses are transported on a truck to its final destination. Van der Vlist offers a fleet of dedicated trailers for the transport of rigid and articulated buses. All trailers are equipped with very long ramps, enabling loading/unloading of these low ground clearance vehicles under their own power. By working with the manufacturers at the design stage, Van der Vlist is often able to use the equipment to reduce the overall dimensions. This allows for quick response times and short transit.

For articulated buses Van der Vlist has a wide network of permanent permits throughout Europe, to ensure that the deliveries are smooth and in time.
