Moerdijk and Zeebrugge offer easy access into and out of Europe by Sea
A deep water port with excellent road and rail links, our AEO accredited Moerdijk terminal gives a worldwide shipping route to and from Europe. The extensive industrial area is strategically located behind the busy North sea ports, ensuring rapid transshipment in bypassing congestion into Europe by road, and our facility also contains a rail terminal.
We offer heavy lift stevedoring services to give efficient and secure loading and unloading of cargo on quay. A mobile crane with a lift capacity of 150 tons, a giant forklift with a 50 ton capacity and a fleet of 16 ton capacity forklifts give our heavy lift experts the tools they need to efficiently and securely load and unload vessels. The cargo can be then moved onward by truck and trailer, or using our MAFIs and tugmasters.
Our Moerdijk terminal has over 100 000m² of secured outdoor storage, and 20 000m² of indoor storage, including a type C Bonded warehouse and supervised customs facilities. There is a 40 ton overhead portal crane and 16 ton crane capacity in each warehouse for lifting cargo, as well as the fleet of forklifts. A range of technical services is available so that all cargo can be managed and maintained. Our Zeebrugge facility, located 2 km from the port has 45 000m² of outdoor storage, and 5 000m² of indoor storage, with excellent multimodal connections. On site there are bonded storage facilities, and a full complement of technical services.
Our port also has a Ro-Ro quay, allowing mobile equipment shipping, as well as shipping of Mafi trailers and trucks and trailers. Our Tugmasters are also available for the transfer of goods on trailer into storage or for transshipment.
