Class 1 driver (Hull)

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and flexible class 1 driver to join our team based out of our location in Hull working throughout the UK. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in loading and unloading a range of mobile machines, for example, articulated wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, material handlers and access equipment. Our starting combination is a new DAF XG530 FTG 6 x 2 coupled with a 3 axle plant trailer. Over time, there will also be a requirement to drop and swap our Dutch semi low loaders and low beds within the UK ports for import / export, therefore a good technical knowledge and practical approach to trailer set up is required as well as STGO & Abnormal Loads experience.

Van der Vlist UK has been operating as a freight forwarding company for almost 25 years, specialising in abnormal loads movements and heavy lift projects within the UK and European markets. We are now beginning a new chapter with the purchase of our First UK registered truck and trailer.
