They are big, heavy, and certainly very photogenic. These tower parts and blades arrived at our multipurpose terminal, where our team put in their energy to unload and store them temporarily.
As road transport becomes more challenging for windtower blades, Van der Vlist looks for solutions. By utilizing our network of our own branches and our trusted network, we can handle it no problem.
This project consists of multiple phases. In the first phase, tower parts have been shipped to Deltapark Neeltje Jans directly and have been handled there by the Van der Vlist team. From making sure the needed material for unloading was there, to unloading, to storage on site.
The parts unloaded at our Moerdijk terminal are part of phase two. They will be temporarily stored, until it is time for them to be moved to the local harbour too. Towerparts will be moved by barge, and the blades will be moved by road, using our special wind trailers.
The towers will be built up at Windpark Jacobahaven, as replacements for their predecessors. The previously built turbines will be replaced by 3 E-115 ENERCON WEC’s with a hub height of 92 meters.
As Van der Vlist we gladly work on helping provide clean energy, by providing our clients with the optimal solutions.
Together we have The Power to Care.
