On 17 July, Van der Vlist UK proudly marked its 25th anniversary. Last week, colleagues from various van der Vlist locations travelled to Hull for a special anniversary event.
The milestone was initially celebrated earlier this year with a small gathering of the UK team. The celebrations continued on 18 September, when colleagues from various Van der Vlist locations joined the UK team in Hull taking a moment to reflect on 25 years of growth, achievements and shared success.
The day began with a visit to the office, where the UK truck attracted plenty of attention and proved to be a real highlight. This was followed by an opportunity to explore the city of Hull and spend time together with colleagues from across the business.
In the evening, colleagues, customers and suppliers came together for a festive celebration. A series of speeches reflected on the journey of the UK operation over the past quarter of a century and the people who have contributed to its success. The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise last year's jubilarian, who reached 12.5 years of service.
Throughout the past 25 years, Van der Vlist UK has been guided by the values that continue to define the wider organisation: Commitment, Compassion and Perseverance. These values have played an important role in building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues, while supporting the continued growth and success of the business.
It was a wonderful occasion that brought together colleagues, customers and partners to celebrate 25 successful years, while looking ahead to the future with confidence.
