Our team successfully contributed to the transport and installation of a complete care annex. Together with our client Houtiva, we had one clear goal in mind: to fully take the burden off the end customer.
A care annex offers a valuable solution for people in need of support. It combines independent living with immediate proximity to care, enabling residents to remain in their familiar surroundings for longer. Houtiva, a Dutch builder, guides customers throughout the process, with a strong focus on quality and personal attention.
Houtiva was responsible for the design and construction of the annex, while Van der Vlist handled the entire logistics chain. From transport planning through to placement at the construction site. Close collaboration ensured an efficient and well-coordinated process, allowing the end customer to benefit from one integrated approach.
The annex, consisting of two sections, covers nearly 100 square meters of living space. The modules were transported as complete units on our own trucks and carefully unloaded on site. The next step involved placing the care annex onto its foundation. For this lifting operation, we partnered with our trusted partner Boer B.V. With their expertise and modern fleet of mobile cranes, the annex was positioned safely and precisely in the correct location.
This project highlights the strength of collaboration and partnership. The result is a high-quality care annex and a fully unburdened end customer.
