Delivering the Extraordinary: A Beertank’s Journey from Spain to Mexico
When our client Landaluce completed the construction of a massive beertank in Spain, the next challenge quickly emerged: transporting it safely to its final destination in Mexico. We embraced this mission wholeheartedly, knowing it would test every aspect of our expertise and creativity.
The journey began with loading the almost 25-meter-long tank onto a sea vessel, which was no small feat in itself with a weight of 43,5 tons. Once secured, the beertank embarked on its transatlantic voyage to Mexico. However, the real test awaited on land.
With a transport length of over 47 meters long and over 6 metres high, a comprehensive route survey was carried out beforehand. It detailed every obstacle:
- where to lift a bridge,
- where to reduce the asphalt beneath certain bridges,
- where to make bypasses to avoid unfeasable roadblocks,
- where to remove a toll station,
- when to put specialized trucks into use to raise overhead cables.
Despite the excellent preparation along the over 1500-kilometer-long route to the end-client, some unexpected challenges could not be prevented. However, where others said the transport would be almost impossible, we proved once again that through commitment, compassion and perseverance, anything is possible. We stayed focused on what mattered most: delivering safely and responsibly. Against the odds, the beertank arrived safely at its destination, a testament to our Power to Care!
