Specialised and Heavy Haulage
With nearly 100 years’ experience, Van der Vlist is a trusted partner in the field of specialised and heavy haulage. Transporting unusual, heavy and oversized loads is in our DNA. We understand that your equipment, machinery or project cargo requires a meticulous approach. Thanks to our extensive knowledge, modern resources and experienced staff, we ensure safe, reliable and efficient transport from start to finish.
What once began as a small haulage company in the polder has grown into a leading player in the European market. Thanks to our decades of experience in specialised and heavy haulage, we are able to offer a suitable solution for every challenge. We regard our customers as partners: together, we work on successful projects and build lasting relationships.
Our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including: agriculture, construction, defence, energy, the maritime sector and travel.
In addition, we regularly carry out projects outside these sectors, where bespoke solutions and flexibility are key.
Experienced professionals
Our drivers have extensive experience in transporting heavy and oversized loads. They have been trained in accordance with the applicable European safety standards and know how to carry out complex transport operations safely and efficiently.
Specialist in modular transport
Within our Specialised and Heavy Haulage department, we have a specialist team dedicated to modular transport. Using modular trailers, we can tailor transport solutions entirely to the specific requirements of your project. Where necessary, we design and configure bespoke trailers to ensure that every load is transported in the most efficient way possible.
From preparation to implementation
A successful special or heavy haulage operation begins with thorough preparation. That is why we not only carry out the transport itself, but also handle the entire preparatory process. Our experienced team analyses and plans the most suitable route, arranges the necessary permits and provides transport escorts where required. This ensures an efficient transport process and a reliable delivery to the destination.
Van der Vlist offers comprehensive solutions for specialised and heavy haulage: safe, professional and fully tailored to your project.
