Multimodal transport
Our transport is multimodal and therefore involves road, water, rail and air. In addition, we handle customs clearance, storage and transhipment, in collaboration with our customers technical activities in marine-related products. Examples include the construction of a pontoon, decommissioning, mobilisation and demobilisation for offshore operations, and (crane) assistance during equipment testing.
In-house
Van der Vlist has its own storage facilities and a terminal in Moerdijk. This terminal provides us with a direct link between inland waterway and seagoing shipping, enabling us to facilitate transhipment to the highest standard. We also have our own staff, coordination team and equipment. This allows us to manage everything in-house, to the benefit of our customers in the maritime sector.
